Superfoods: Protect Your Body by Eating Right

In North Beach in San Francisco, super foods are served every night.
According to Natalie Ledesma, a registered dietician, superfoods--also known as phytochemicals--are foods that contain chemicals that can boost our immune system, and reduce the risk of cancer and heart diseases. She gives a simple list of foods that are superfoods, and what effect they might bring about. She also suggests the readers to try to eat some of them each week to stay heathly.

Afterthought:

Nowadays, as we are under threat from all kinds of pollution, simply keeping heathly is such an extravagance for normal people like us. However, there is actually an easy and inexpensive way to achieve this: keep heathly by eating! Absurd, isn't it? Yet, there are in fact a variety of foods that are not only tasty to eat, but also provide nutrients and chemicals that protect us from many known cancers and diseases! In fact, I eat the various foods mentioned in the article almost daily, and I know one thing: I haven't got colds for several years, even when flues are rampaging across Taiwan. Just think, you don't need to visit your local doctor, and get cramped inside a small clinic, by eating (and a little bit of exercise of course)! How hard can this get? Try it now!
